The '''Deku Hornet''' is a collectible insect found in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword|Skyward Sword]]''. They are very common and can be found in [[Faron Woods]], specifically the [[Deep Woods]].{{Ref|SS|1399|[[Fi]]}}{{Ref|SS|3027|[[Bertie]]}}{{Ref|SS|3474|[[Gondo]]}} Later in the game, when access to the [[Thunderhead]] is available, Deku Hornets can be found on the island of [[Bug Rock]]. They are obtainable after [[Link (Skyward Sword)|Link]] knocks down one of their nests, he can then capture them with a [[Bug Net]] although the Deku Hornets will attack when he is too close.{{Ref|SS|2204|[[Fi]]}} Additionally, by destroying their hive Link also receives Hornet Larvae.{{Ref|SS|484|In-game description}}.
