The Stick is obtained once [[Link (A Link to the Past)#Link's Awakening|Link]] successfully delivers the [[Bananas]] to [[Kiki|Kiki the monkey]] near [[Kanalet Castle]]. After building a bridge to the castle, Kiki leaves the Stick behind.{{Ref|LA|343|In-game description}} Link can then take the Stick to [[Tarin]], who he finds in the [[Ukuku Prairie]] trying to knock down a hive of [[bee]]s.
