The Forest Dweller's Shield has a base [[Shield Guard]] of 30, and can be found in various locations in [[Hyrule]], but they are most common in the [[Korok Forest]]. The shield is made entirely from wood, meaning it will catch fire if it is brought in close proximity with a flame.

This shield has the highest stats of any wooden shield in the game. It's also among the rarest shields in the game, with one given during the [[Test of Wood]] shrine quest, one given in a chest, and an extra one in [[Master Mode]]; a third shield can be found inside a small crevice to the left of [[Chio]] prompted against a root of the [[Great Deku Tree#Breath of the Wild|Great Deku Tree]] alongside a [[Forest Dweller's Spear]]. While the two first locations are one-time obtainment, the shield in the crevice respawns every [[Blood Moon]].
