In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask|Majora's Mask]]'', unlike ''Ocarina of Time'', Kaepora Gaebora doesn't give rides to [[Link (Ocarina of Time)#Majora's Mask|Link]], but he does teach him the [[Song of Soaring]] and leads him to the [[Lens of Truth]]. The [[Owl Statue]]s in [[Termina]] look very similar to Kaepora Gaebora himself. Note that in the game he appears to be a "higher being" instead of just a talking owl. For example, he seems to remember Link even after the [[Song of Time]] has been played. Also, in ''Majora's Mask'', he is just referred to as 'The Great Owl'.

Throughout ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures|Four Swords Adventures]]'', Kaepora Gaebora guides the Links throughout their journey. He first speaks to [[Link (Four Swords Adventures)|Link]] immediately after he draws the [[Four Sword]]. He informs Link that the [[Shrine Maidens]] and [[Zelda]] have been taken, and he will need to restore the power to the Four Sword using [[Force Gem]]s to rescue them.{{Ref|FSA|991|Kaepora Gaebora}} He also greets the Links when they awaken at [[Lake Hylia (Four Swords Adventures)|Lake Hylia]] and introduces himself.{{Ref|FSA|313|Kaepora Gaebora}}

In future levels he appears at perch posts located throughout the levels providing advice or information. For example, at the end of the [[Tower of Flames]], the owl gives advice telling Link to go towards [[Infiltration of Hyrule Castle|Hyrule Castle]] because a dark force has covered it in monsters.{{Ref|FSA|493|Kaepora Gaebora}} If it is the first time playing through the level, he automatically flies down and speaks to the Links. If it is not the first time, the A button will make him reappear at his perch.
