Them: Difference between revisions

Every year around the [[Carnival of Time]], ghostly enemies simply referred to as '''Them''' appear and try to steal [[cow]]s from [[Romani Ranch]]. They appear in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask|Majora's Mask]]'' as [[Poe]]-like creatures, with large lights on their head. They can be shot with [[Arrow]]s from the [[Hero's Bow]].

==Story==

If [[Link (Ocarina of Time)#Majora's Mask|Link]] meets [[Romani]] on the first day, she tells him about Them and asks for help battling them at night. She explains that her sister, [[Cremia]], doesn't know about the problem.{{Ref|MM|5470|Romani}} Link agrees to help her after she makes sure he's qualified for the job by having him [[Romani's Target Practice|shoot balloon targets]] around the ranch.

At 2 am that night,{{Ref|MM|5475|Romani}} They come to the ranch and slowly approach the barn. Link must fend them off until morning by shooting them with arrows.{{Ref|MM|5480|Romani}} The [[Inverted Song of Time]] will slow Them down. It is easiest to hit them while riding on [[Epona]].

If Link manages to stop them all until the Dawn of the [[Second Day]], Romani will reward him with a [[Bottle]] of [[Milk]].{{Ref|MM|5452|Romani}} If he fails to keep Them back until morning, they will steal the cows and kidnap Romani, returning her later without her memories.{{Ref|MM|5511|Romani}}{{Ref|MM|5512}}

*They appear as white dots on the Mini-Map.

*They cannot be hurt with anything else besides the [[Hero's Bow]]{{Unsourced}}.

*The little [[Dog]] will run toward the closest one of Them, so Link should follow him if in doubt.

*The box near [[Romani]]'s house holds 30 [[Arrow]]s.
