The Light Arrows can pierce and destroy very evil itself, and are typically the strongest ammunition in games they appear in, at the cost of draining more [[Magic Power]] than the other elemental Arrows. They fundamentally differ from their classic counterpart, the [[Silver Arrow|Silver Arrows]], in that they do not directly damage [[Ganon]], but rather stun and weaken his defenses so that [[Link]] can attack freely.

In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|Ocarina of Time]]'', the Light Arrows are entrusted to [[Link (Ocarina of Time)|Link]] by [[Zelda (Ocarina of Time)|Princess Zelda]] in the [[Temple of Time]], after he has awakened all of the [[Seven Sages]]. They cause any [[Enemies]] killed by them to drop a [[Purple Rupee]], and are required to destroy the magical barrier blocking access to the upper levels of [[Ganon's Castle]].
