It is obtained once [[Link]] visits the [[Maku Tree]] after obtaining all eight [[Essence|Essences of Nature]] in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons|Oracle of Seasons]]'' and the [[Essences of Time]] on ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages|Oracle of Ages]]''. The seed in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons|Oracle of Seasons]]'' is purple and blue, most likely made to resemble [[Veran]]. The seed in  ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages|Oracle of Ages]]'' is yellow and green, most likely made to resemble [[Onox]]. The Seed is used to quell the evil barrier surrounding [[Onox's Castle]] in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons|Oracle of Seasons]]'' and the evil barrier surrounding the [[Black Tower]] in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages|Oracle of Ages]]'', but its use stems at that function alone.
