This giant jellyfish-like creature appears as soon as Link enters the boss room. He must use the [[Boomerang]] in order to defeat Barinade. First, he must detach Barinade from the ceiling with the aid of the Boomerang. The Bommerang must strike its vulnerable foundation, paralyzing it and allowing the young hero to slash away at it. Link must also avoid the [[Bari]] spinning around Barinade while performing this task, otherwise he will be electrocuted.<ref>{{Cite|OoT|639|[[Navi]]}}</ref> After some time passes, it will stop and shoot laser beams at Link which he must avoid.
