The battle takes place on a perch in the middle of a large hole, with a hole in the right hand side. Should Link fall he lands on the floor below and is forced to start the fight over. He shows up again as a mini-boss in [[Ganon's Tower (A Link to the Past)|Ganon's Tower]]. Moldorm's only weakness is his tail; Strike it with your sword as he passes by. After four hits, Moldorm will start moving faster. It will take a total of six hits to defeat Moldorm.
