They are fairly common, [[Link]] can aquire them in his quest by defeating enemies, such as [[Bokoblin]]s, or by finding them within [[Treasure Chest]]s. He can also use his [[Grappling Hook]] to snatch them away from Bokoblins during combat. When Link goes to the teacher [[Mrs. Marie]] and gives her 20 Joy Pendants, she will give him the [[Cabana Deed]]. If he gives her 40 more for a total of 60 Joy Pendants, she will give the young hero the [[Hero's Charm]]. With the Hero's Charm, Link can now see enemies health during battles.
