Deadite are large bat-like enemies that fly towards Zelda. They move rather slowly but will come swooping down and try to fly into her. One sword slash will get rid of these pesky enemies. Deadites are usually endless in the number that appear, and each time one does pop up, it will give Zelda a green ruby as a reward. Thus, defeating a number of them in a row is a great way to quickly accumulate rubies.
