You could obtain the Magical Shield by going to several [[shop]]s around [[Hyrule]]. They usually cost around 100 rupees to buy. The Magical Shield can be swallowed when you're attacked by a [[Like Like]], when it happens, you revert back to your [[Wooden Shield]] and you have to buy another one. Unlike the wooden shield, it can defend against physical(like octorok rocks)  and magical attacks, like [[River Zora]] beams.
The Magical Shield is the second, and best, shield available in ''[[The Legend of Zelda]]''. It can be bought from any of the [[Item Shop]]s that can be found across [[Hyrule]]. The price varies, from 160 [[Rupee]]s to 130 Rupees to 90 Rupees. It blocks projectiles that were previously unblockable by the [[Wooden Shield]]. The Magical Shield can be swallowed by a [[Like Like]] if they attack Link and he doesn't break free in time. If Link does not break free in time, he will be forced to buy a new one.
