Leaf is the Spirit of Power--one of the three spirits who are required in order to track down the [[Ghost Ship]].  He is the first spirit in which Link rescues from the [[Temple of Fire]] on the [[Isle of Ember]].  When Leaf is upgraded by collecting [[Power Gems]] and offers them at the Spirit Spring on [[Spirit Island]], an island south of Molida Island, it enables Link to have the option to equip Leaf--which allows Link's blade to be enveloped in fire and it deals more damage to foes.
