:Hey Kendo - correct me if I'm wrong, but the resource you linked states that Yasuhisa was the dungeon designer, not a director. "1. ::I am sorry for the misunderstanding. :( The erroneous ''Zelda II'' director credit for Yoichi Yamada stems from a misattribution of the Yamahen/Yamahem(u) pseudonym to him in an [https://web.archive.org/web/20060506160757/http://www.n-sider.com/gameview.php?gameid=253&view=credits old credits list from N-Sider] which spread the error and has since been widely adopted by other sites without primary sources backing up the connection. While the [https://web.archive.org/web/20190923184325/https://www.glitterberri.com/links-awakening/staff-list-interview/ source discovered later] lists the developers' roles in the development of ''Link's Awakening'' under question 1 (hence only "Underground Construction (Dungeon Design)" for the person in question), it confirms that the nickname Yamahen/Yamahem(u) actually belongs to Yasuhisa Yamamura rather than Yoichi Yamada, therefore revealing Yamamura's involvement as one of the directors in ''Zelda II'' (where he is only credited under his pseudonym Yamahen). I hope this explains it better. :) [[User:KendoG2|KendoG2]] ([[User talk:KendoG2|talk]]) 09:21, October 1, 2019 (UTC) |
