'''Igneo Talus''' are a variant of the ''[[Stone Talus]]'' that appear in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild|Breath of the Wild]]''. Like their normal counterparts, Igneo Talus hide in the ground as large, molten rocks that only begin to form once Link comes close enough.  

Igneo Talus are commonly found to the west side of [[Death Mountain|Death Mountain]]. The player is most likely to encounter their first Igneo Talus to the southwest of Gortram Cliff if they choose to follow the trail to ''[[Goron City|Goron City]]''.

Igneo Talus attack in the same manner as other Talus, it will use its arms and body to try and crush Link, however, they now cause explosions that can damage him, either by throwing its arms, or slamming its body against the ground. The other challenge the Igneo Talus poses is that its body is too hot for Link to go near. Climbing onto, and standing on the boss will cause the player to take damage at a fast rate. This can all be avoided, however, with the use of any Frost weaponry, including [[Ice Rod |Ice Rods]] and [[Ice Arrow|Ice Arrows]]. Hitting the Talus with any Frost damage will cause it to be stunned, and put out the fire coursing through its body, giving Link time to attack the Ore on its body, don't take too long, as the Talus will try to relight itself after it throws Link off.
