The hill is located in the [[West Necluda]] region of the game, just west of the [[Hylia River]] and south of the [[East Post Ruins]]. The [[Bosh Kala Shrine]] can be found at the northern base of the hill.

At the peak of the hill, there are some ruins with a staircase. A rock can be found here with a [[Korok]] hiding beneath it. There are additional stone structures down the hill to the south with some stone steps that lead up to the hill's peak.


There is a tower located at the north end of Scout's Hill with a treasure chest on top of it containing a [[Sapphire]] gem. There are also a pair of treasure chests south of Scout's Hill, down in the water at the bottom of the waterfall that flows into [[Lake Hylia (Breath of the Wild)|Lake Hylia]]. Inside Link will find a [[Rupee|Silver Rupee]] and some [[Ice Arrow]]s.
As the area is fairly wide open with grassy plains, it attracts [[Grassland Fox]]es that can be seen running around. Additionally, both [[Pink Heron]] and [[Blue-Winged Heron]] will occasionally appear near the hill. The hill is fairly quiet in terms of enemies, with a [[Chuchu]] or [[Keese Swarm]] appearing rarely. At nighttime however, [[Stalkoblin]] will occasionally pop up.

When talking to [[Pikango]] at the [[Highland Stable]], Link can show him one of the pictures that are part of the [[Captured Memories]] main quest. He recognizes the [[Bridge of Hylia]] in the background and thinks that perhaps the picture was taken from Scout's Hill.{{Ref|''Hmm... Scout's Hill can be found east of the [[Great Plateau]], right along the [[Hylia River]].
 
There is a treasure chest at the very top of a large pillar structure, found at the north end of Scout's Hill. Link can quickly reach the top of the pillar by using the nearby [[Spring]] that is on the ground to launch Link up. The treasure chest contains an [[Opal]].
 
A bit southwest of the hill, there is an enemy camp with a number of [[Blue Bokoblin]]. A treasure chest can also be found here, containing a [[Soldier's Claymore]]. There are some ruins, well west of Scout's Hill, where there is a dangerous [[Gloom Spawn]]. Fortunately, Link can simply climb the ruins and be out of reach from the hands. A treasure chest can be found in these ruins, containing a [[Knight's Bow]].

*At the northeast part of the hill, there is a large circular rock in a hole. Grab the rock with [[Ultrahand]] and place it on the small wooden tree, where the rock sits perfectly. This will get the [[Korok]] to appear.
*At the very top of the hill, collect the flowers to get the [[Korok Seed]].
*West of Scout's Hill, on the small plateau, catch the fairy lights to get the Korok Seed.
