The '''Kokiri Sword''' is the first [[Sword]] that [[Link]] obtains in both ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|Ocarina of Time]]'' and ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask|Majora's Mask]]''. In both games it serves as the weakest sword.

In ''Ocarina of Time'', the Kokiri Sword is found in the [[Kokiri Forest]], specifically the [[Forest Training Center]] where Link has to maneuver through the small hole to where the Kokiri Sword is hidden. Before Link is able to meet the [[Great Deku Tree]], Link is forced to find the Kokiri Sword and the [[Deku Shield]] by [[Mido]]. It is then that Link goes to the Forest Training Center and obtains the Sword. This sword will remain the sword of choice for Young Link throughout the game.  

In ''Majora's Mask'', Link already has the Kokiri Sword equipped on him from his quest in ''Ocarina of Time''. Link can later upgrade his sword to the [[Razor Sword]]. After he does so, he can later upgrade it to a greater sword, the [[Gilded Sword]], in the [[Mountain Smithy]] in [[Mountain Village]].
