The Book of Sorcery is a weapon class used by Lana in Hyrule Warriors. The Book is Lana's default weapon class.While wielding it, she fights using lightning magic and by summoning magic barriers which she can detonate.

Variations

• Spirit's Tome: The Level 1 variation.
• Sealing Tome: The Level 2 variation.
• Sorceress Tome: The Level 3 variation.
• 8-Bit Book of Magic: The Level ★ variation. Lana wields the Book of Magic from The Legend of Zelda, rendered in 3D.
• Sorceress Tome +: The Level 4 variation. Identical to the Sorceress Tome.
• Tome of the Night: The Level 4+ variation, which adds Darkness as a secondary element.

Moveset

Attack	Explanation
Base String?	Lana performs a string of five attacks; She swipes left while scattering pages, spins and swipes left again, scatters pages in front of her, creates a vortex to suck the loose pages in, and shoots a burst of lightning into the vortex that detonates it.
C1?	Lana leaps ahead with a flying kick, engulfed in electricity. If she hits a magic wall created by her Combo Attacks, Lana will run up the wall, jump into the air, and detonate it with a blast of lightning.
C2?	Lana vaults back before creating a magic wall where she stood; This can be extended, causing Lana to summon two walls on either side of her, then smash the latter two walls together, detonating them.
C3?	Lana tosses a line of electrified pages that rain down in front of her; This can be extended, causing Lana to summon an electric wall at the end of the line, then create a vortex that sucks enemies towards the wall before destroying it. The electric wall constantly creates pulses around it, damaging nearby enemies.
C4?	Lana summons a horizontal line of electrified pages that rain down in the immediate area; This can be extended, causing Lana to create three magic walls where the pages landed, then send them all forward.
C5?	Lana creates a magic circle from which she summons a magic cube, jumps on top and rides it forward, then fires an electric pulse from the cube and jumps off; The control stick can be used to steer Lana as she rides the cube. The cube remains and can be detonated with the C1.
Special Attack	Lana summons a corridor of magic walls, three on either side, and hops across each wall to the other side. Lana then snaps her fingers, detonating the walls to hit all enemies inside and near the corridor.
Focus Spirit Finisher	Manual: Lana rises into the air, summons three magic panels, and sends them flying forward. Automatic: Lana creates an orb of electricity, jumps into the air, and slams it to the ground in an electric explosion.
