The Sword of the Six Sages was a weapon initially forged and used by the Ancient Sages in Twilight Princess, before being taken by Ganondorf and used as his primary weapon. It is available as an amiibo-exclusive weapon in Breath of the Wild and reappears as the Dusk Claymore in Tears of the Kingdom.
Twilight Princess
" Would you hear my desire? To take this foul blade...and use it to blot out the light forever! "
When the Ancient Sages decided to execute Ganondorf, they chained him to a massive stone in the Arbiter's Grounds and ran him through with the Sword of the Six Sages. Unfortunately, at the moment he should have died, the Triforce of Power awakened within him and saved his life. Using this "power of the gods", he broke free and used the sword to kill the Ancient Sage of Water. When the remaining Sages used the Mirror of Twilight in a panic to banish him to the Twilight Realm, the sword went with him.
When Link and Midna find out Ganondorf was the power behind Zant's actions, they find him in the Hyrule Castle throne room with the Sword of the Six Sages, the wound caused by it still glowing on his chest, a point of vulnerability in Dark Beast Ganon form. When chased down on Hyrule Field, Ganondorf draws the sword itself to battle Link, describing it as a "foul blade". Its fate after Ganondorf's death is unknown.
Breath of the Wild
"The Six Sages are said to have forged this longsword to seal a demon king in the world where the hero fought against the beasts of twilight. The blade shines with a holy luster."
The Sword of the Six Sages is an amiibo-exclusive weapon found in Breath of the Wild. It can be obtained by scanning a Ganondorf amiibo through the use of the amiibo Rune. Scanning the amiibo will drop various items from the sky, along with a treasure chest, which has a chance of containing the Sword of the Six Sages, but can also contain different items. The amiibo can only be scanned once per day.
The sword itself is a two-handed weapon, with a base power of 48. It represents the sword used by Ganondorf in Twilight Princess.

Super Smash Bros. Series
Ganondorf uses the Sword of the Six Sages in Super Smash Bros. Brawl only as part of his down taunt, where he brandishes it, and a sheen of light flows down the blade before a burst of darkness emerges from the tip.
He uses the same down taunt in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, but the sword is also used as an active move, his Warlock Blade.
