The large Clock Tower in the center of Clock Town opens up on the eve of the carnival.[1] The Carnival is a gathering of the races to celebrate a good crop for the year to come.[2][3] The festivity goers typically wear masks to this event.[4] While it technically begins at midnight on the Final Day, it mostly occurs on the fourth day of Link's stay in Termina, and as a result, it is only successful if Link stops the impending Moon. Musicians such as the Zora band, The Indigo-Go's, perform during this festive occasion.[5][6][7] Many important events such as marriages coincide with this day, a glorious event for all.[8]
