Earlier in the year, Nintendo announced that a Tears of the Kingdom Master Works book would be coming to Japan on August 3oth, 2024. With the book due to release later in the week, Nintendo’s official Zelda X account this morning offered us a video introduction to Tears of the Kingdom Master Works and its contents.

The book’s Japanese publisher, Ambit, put together a short video set to Tears of the Kingdom music introducing the different chapters we’ll find in Master Works. The chapters in the video feature “Artwork,” “Making,” and “History.” All of the chapters are sure to feature stunning new artwork and behind-the-scenes details that we have yet to see from the making of Tears of the Kingdom.

Personally, I love the artwork that we catch glimpses of in this video, such as concept art for Rauru and Sonia, as well as the new key art that was released with this morning’s video.

We can only hope that Tears of the Kingdom Master Works will eventually make its way to regions outside Japan. But for now, we can thank our friends over at Zelda Universe for translating some previously released pages from the book.

These kinds of books are popular among fans because they allow us to relive the games and stories that we love in a new way. Are you excited for the release of Tears of the Kingdom Master Works? What do you hope to see from the making of the game? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
