VG Facts: Easter Egg Hunting in Zelda
Posted on December 09 2015 by Jon Lett
VG Facts is at it again! With the help of YouTuber Jimmy Whetzel, their popular show, Easter Egg Hunting, tackles the Zelda series – specifically, The Legend of Zelda and The Adventure of Link. There are loads and loads of well-known Easter eggs in the series, but VG Facts takes pride in showing us something new – something we didn’t know before – so expect to learn some cool stuff. Also, this is only part one of the Zelda Easter Egg Hunt, so also expect later games to get covered.
Check out the video after the jump!
I totally didn’t even know about the rupees being from CLU CLU LAND. I was also extremely surprised that the cucco in A Link to the Past‘s Kakarika Village is a person. I guess her calling for help from other cuccos is the original explanation for why the cuccos try and kill you. Interesting to know. I really do love these videos, as they prove that there are seemingly endless layers to the classic games we play, and while new games are always fun to play, looking back at the classics like Zelda can still show you something new.
Did you guys learn anything from the video? Are you interested to see some obscure Easter eggs in A Link to the Past and games after it? Drop a comment!
