Unused Great Fairy Costume Found In Tri Force Heroes

Recently a couple of intrepid gamers were digging around in some of the code and files for the latest game in the Zelda franchise, Tri Force Heroes and during their scavenger hunt they found something very interesting. It would appear that there is an unused costume for our heroes resembling the Great Fairy from A Link Between Worlds. Could this possibly be a a work-in-progress model that was abandoned before it was completed? Pedalpowerluigi has uploaded a video to YouTube showing off what they found.
