Eiji Aonuma sure has been busy talking with Edge magazine as he has revealed in his interview with the publication that the upcoming and much anticipated Zelda title for Wii U will feature plenty of unexpected elements. Mr. Aonuma mentioned that, just like Zelda 3DS, the aim for Zelda Wii U is to surprise gamers like never before by rethinking the conventions of the series.

Here’s the quote mentioned in Mr. Aonuma’s interview with Edge magazine:
“The new game (A Link To The Past 2) will play very differently to the original. I think the new additions will make players see the game in a different way. And, of course, we’ll introduce even more unexpected elements in the Zelda game that we’re making for Wii U.”
Hopefully, Nintendo’s brand new Zelda adventure for Wii U will be shown in a trailer during its Nintendo Direct presentation next week and give gamers the chance to see exactly where Nintendo is heading with this hyped up title. As long as Nintendo doesn’t overturn particular series’ elements too greatly then Zelda Wii U should be an exciting title for current and new Wii U owners!
