Twitch Plays Zelda

After the wildly popular “Twitch Plays Pokemon” made such a splash across the gaming community, it was only a matter of time before “Twitch Plays Zelda” became a thing. And sure enough, as of yesterday, it has!
For those unfamiliar with the “Twitch Plays” phenomenon, it involves mapping the controls of the game to input from the chat. So in the instance of the original Legend of Zelda, if someone in chat types “B” and Link has the Wand equipped, he’ll use it. Unfortunately, because the original Legend of Zelda is such a fast-paced and unforgiving game, unlimited hearts and unlimited bombs has been enabled. Even still, oftentimes the cacophony of so many different inputs can end up causing Link to walk around in circles when all he’s trying to do is exit via the darn door.
Sometimes it seems the stream can go down for unexpected reasons, but the Twitch user assures us that if that happens stream will be back up and will continue until all of those pieces of the Triforce of Wisdom have been collected. After that? I say they go for the second quest!
Will you be joining in the chat and helping Link in his quest? Let us know in the comments!
