Twilight Symphony released on YouTube

Just recently the team at Zelda Reorchestrated released their album, Twilight Symphony, on YouTube. Included are orchestrated tracks of songs from Twilight Princess, along with a professional Hollywood choir. Not to mention vocal talent from several live soloists, including Aubrey Ashburn from titles like Dragon Age 2, and Devil May Cry 4.

About their new album, they said: “Twilight Symphony, in our own humble opinion, is ZREO’s greatest achievement…”
Unfortunately, the team at Zelda Reorchestrated has also recently announced the closing and subsequent take-down of the site.
Personally, I enjoy any dedicated project brought about by innovative Zelda fans. I think the people at ZREO did a wonderful job with the original compositions. “Death Mountain”, for example, is definitely one of my new favorite fan Zelda songs. From their offering of a “Faron Woods” piece that sounds more exotic in the opening seconds than the actual game area, to the stunning beauty of the piano cover of “Rutela’s Wish”, I think they did a great job overall, and I’m sad to see them go.
But what do you think of the album? Like it? Hate it? Love it more than the original? Let us know in the comments!
