Threadless Tees Lists New “Penrose Triforce” T-Shirt

If you’re a Zelda fan (you probably should be if you’re reading this) and you enjoy optical illusions, this new prototype shirt design by Threadless Tees might be for you. Named appropriately for both its resemblance to the Penrose triangle and the Triforce, this new design is sure to look good on a shirt for anyone. For more pictures, hit the jump below!
This shirt was designed as a challenge put to the Threadless designers to create a design that uses three colors or less and has a “graphic design” look about it. The deal is with this design is that it has to get enough good ratings for Threadless Tees to sell it. From the comments, it appears that the shirt is getting some fantastic responses; I wouldn’t be surprised if it actually made it to shirt selling status. You may want to go over to the page and give your own opinion if you feel so inclined!
If you are not familiar with the Penrose Triangle, the image to the right should clear things up. This is definitely one of the most famous optical illusions out there and I think the shirt does a good job adding a Zelda twist to this classic illusion.
Also, if you were wonder, the shirt does come in three colors. Hero Green, Dark Charcoal, and Princess Pink. The three colors can be seen in the image below.
