The Warp Zone Releases Satirical Video of “Link on a Plane”
Posted on January 25 2015 by Alexis S. Anderson
The YouTube personalities over at The Warp Zone have once again created a hilarious parody of The Legend of Zelda in “Link on a Plane”. This time around the video focuses on a rather explosive situation that occurs when one of Link’s items falls out of his carry-on. A stereotypical cop-drama negotiator gets called in to handle it, and in the end there’s a cheeky plot twist that should not to be missed.
Warning: The video contains adult language and touchy subject matter. (PG13)
The Warp Zone team consists of five devoted gamer-musician-comedians. They create music videos and sketch comedy bits that pertain to video games spanning from MarioKart, to Destiny, to Mega Man, and other nerdy material. This video featured YouTube personalities Andre Meadows from BlackNerdComedy and Katie Wilson from legendofkatie. This is The Warp Zone‘s fifth Legend of Zelda related video; we reported on one awhile back, and the rest can be found here.
This video would probably anger the TSA, but I found it harmless and really funny. Love the typical movie hijacker elements. What did you think of the video? Would you be interested in seeing The Warp Zone make more Zelda parodies? How do you think this would’ve played out in reality?
