The Sun’s Song is Directly Related to the Song of Time

Zelda Theorist RMFH decided to dig into the history of Sun’s Song to find out why its composers, Sharp and Flat, were able to create such a powerful set of notes. He found that the brothers were meant to study the powers of the Royal Family, and might’ve been given access to the Song of Time in order to further their research thus making the Sun’s Song a relative of the Song of Time, with one added bonus– the power of light. I love the idea that the Sun’s Song came into being as an extension of the Song of Time. It seems plausible which just goes to show the intricacy of Ocarina of Time’s plot and the developer’s painstaking attention to detail within the game. It was also nice to see Sharp and Flat highlighted in this theory, they’re often overlooked and I personally never would’ve recalled their significance to the Royal Family had I not been reminded of it in this video. If you enjoyed this theory, check out some of RMFH’s other Zelda Theory videos here.
Do you support this theory that the Sun’s Song is related the the Song of Time? Do you have any other theories regarding the “masterpiece”? And what are your feelings on the powers of the Royal Family, do you think they extend beyond just control of time and light? Share your ideas in the comments!
