The Legend’s Cookbook is Hosting a Contest, Submit Your Recipes, Art, and More to Win Prizes!

Art can take many different forms. You can paint a beautiful picture, or write a harrowing tale. You can compose a spine-tingling anthem, or even choreograph a stunning dance to leave an audience mesmerized. It’s putting your passion down on a canvas of your choice, releasing all the emotion you feel into the world. It’s all art, and it’s all beautiful. And that’s what the team behind The Legend’s Cookbook has done in the past: brought their love of cooking to the pages of several cookbooks, in hopes that they might help others do the same.
Now, they want to see what you’ve created.
The Legend’s Cookbook team is hosting a contest! They’re looking for submissions of recipes, art, and stories for three separate categories of entry. Each category will have a prize for first, second, and third places, in the form of aprons, cookbooks, and gift cards. No purchase of their products is necessary — it’s a free-for-all!
We have decided to extend our Hyrule Haunt Cookoff all the way until the WINTER SOLSTICE, Dec. 21st. We have tons of great prizes, gift cards, and more. Expand the image below for more info. We already have a few great entries, let’s get some more! #HyruleHauntCookoff pic.twitter.com/npj2OPytyM

“The Hyrule Haunt Cookoff” is all about the cooking. Who says spooky season has to end with Halloween? Submit your original Halloween-themed recipe, and they will recreate it in their test kitchen. Winners will be judged on taste.
The “Harvest Arts and Crafts Festival” is all about… well… arts and crafts! Create a work of art inspired by the changing seasons, and they will judge it on relation to fall / Halloween and overall appeal. Nervous about your skill level? Don’t be! Novices and professionals alike are encouraged to enter, and each will be judged according to their skill level. They just want to see your pretty art!
Last, there is the “Poe’s Scary Storytime,” where they want to hear your spooky, scary tales! You can submit something written or a recording of your story being told. Length is no issue here, so make it as long or short as you need to send shivers down their spines.
Sounds fun, right? But, as with any contest, there’s always rules.
- First and foremost, this must be your original work. No submitting someone else’s, okay? They want to see what you’ve got and be proud of you. You are more than welcome to submit something you’ve done in the past or something completely brand new, as long as it’s your work.
- Next, make sure you get your entries in by December 21st, 2023. That will provide them with plenty of time to judge — they want to contact winners at the end of the year.
- Entries are accepted through social media, but you have to use their hashtag (#HyruleHauntCookoff) so they can find you.
Still, it’s all so easy to enter, and it’s now your time to shine!
