The Legend of… Darksiders? Live Stream

When the original Darksiders hit shelves in January of 2010, fans and critics alike were immediately drawing the comparisons to both the God of War and Legend of Zelda franchises. The game had many of the dungeon and puzzle aspects of Zelda and it got rather good reviews, having aggregate scores in the 80’s on GameRankings and Metacritic. Unfortunately for us Nintendo fans, this was one of the many franchises this generation that only saw releases on the PS3 and the Xbox 360. However, Darksiders II was one of the initial titles to throw full support behind the upcoming Nintendo Wii U and it is set to be a launch title for the console later in 2012.

Darksiders is a game I never played when it initially released, but I finally got my hands on a copy, along with a PS3. Over the course of the next few weeks I will be live streaming my playthrough of the game over at our Twitch.TV Channel. You can join in the chatroom over at Twitch, which I will also be reading and providing video commentary while simultaneously playing the game. Not only will I be playing Darksiders, but I will be playing through other modern games, NES Classics, Legend of Zelda titles, and other random video games.

So how much is Darksiders really like the Legend of Zelda? Is it really a fair comparison to make? Is it a game Legend of Zelda fans would like to play?
