The Escapist: Negative Skyward Sword Video Review

I saw this video review several weeks back but I deliberately decided NOT to report on it. We had already posted a couple of negative reviews of Skyward Sword and this one happened to come out just before Christmas time. The verdict on Skyward Sword was already out and this would likely insight some very unnecessary bitterness amongst fans. It would perhaps even influence those borderline fans to not even purchase the game, and perhaps just renting it or borrowing it from a friend instead. Nevertheless, we are now well beyond the holiday season, so I figured, what the heck. The folks over at The Escapist have posted their video review and you can view it after the jump.

WARNING: There is some vulgar and sexual language to be found in the video review. Other than that, let’s just try to be civil in the comments below. Sure he has some elaborate critiques of the game, some of which are warranted, but he does them in such a way that is undoubtedly going to inspire a backlash. Let’s just calm down and realize this is the opinion of one person. Perhaps it is a bit overkill, but the creator of this video does say Skyward Sword is the worst Zelda game to date, (not counting the CD-i titles). Nevertheless with that out of the way, here is the video for you all.
