Target Offering Free Adventure Hip Pack With In-Store Purchase of Tears of the Kingdom

May 12th approaches quickly! It feels like just yesterday we were hanging our heads at the announcement of the delay of Tears of the Kingdom. It went by in a flash though, and now it’s the inevitable time to consider where exactly you’ll be grabbing the coveted sequel to Breath of the Wild. If your store of choice is Target, you might be in for an extra little treat when you grab your game.
As first reported by Nintendo Merch Central, Target stores will be offering a complimentary Adventure Hip Pack to those who purchase The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in-store starting May 12th. An inside source was able to confirm with Zelda Dungeon that the promotion is legitimate. The bag is however available as supplies last and dependent on store, so be sure to call ahead to make sure your local store is participating. As well, it looks like this promotion is exclusive to Targets within North America for now.

As you can see, the bag is a decent size and looks to be made with fairly nice materials. For a free item, that’s a pretty nice bonus! Our source stated the bag is intended exclusively as a bonus for in-store purchases of Tears of the Kingdom, but wouldn’t rule out the possibility of a particular store giving the bag to a pre-order customer if a receipt / online order confirmation was provided.
As stated before, this promotion is only at participating stores starting May 12th, and subject to availability, so be sure to call ahead!
