Next week, our friends at Zeldathon are once again launching a marathon playthough of every single Zelda game. Beginning on June 19th at 4 PM Eastern, the Zeldathon Deluxe live stream will be raising money for charity as it moves its way across the Zelda franchise. This summer’s Zeldathon promises a new “deluxe” system that will upgrade scheduled games as donations are made. The newest Zeldathon Deluxe trailer explains this new system and gives us a taste of what to expect when the marathon starts…
Just yesterday, a group of dedicated Zelda fans sat down for a marathon gaming session for the greater good. While we all scramble to check out the latest news on Hyrule Warriors, these gamers are on an adventure through the well-tread grounds of Ocarina of Time and other series hits, and much more is on the line than the fate of Hyrule. Hey folks, and welcome to our first ever fully sponsored Zelda Marathon! We’ve teamed up with 448 to present to you a stunning four day marathon of nothing but Zelda. Playing through nine Zelda games over the course of four days, we’re aiming to have a lot of fun with the 448 team and raise a solid chunk of change for charity at the same time. This marathon will be supporting Child’s Play, which you can read more about here. Essentially, Child’s Play makes it possible for children in hospitals across the globe to experience the same joy of video games you and I get to enjoy every single day. I actually once saw a cancer patient playing a GameCube and the hospital told me it was thanks to Child’s Play, and that brought a huge smile to my face.
The Marathon officially starts at 9 am EST, 8 am CST, and 6 am PST, and will run until the middle of the day on December 31st. There will be prizes, giveaways, and stretch donation goals to really help drive this straight into your home. Come watch for a few minutes, or hours, or join us every day! We hope you thoroughly enjoy the Zeldathon to your hearts’ content! May the Triforce be with you all. Hop inside to see the nine games 448 will be playing!

The people here at the Zelda Marathon had way too much fun, I think. There have been prizes and events with each donation to Child’s Play with set goals that the team put together. We made thousands of dollars in donations for Child’s Play. Great job to everyone who donated, children will now have toys of entertainment in their hospital rooms because of you. With acknowledgments done, let’s move on to our main attractions! Take the jump below to see…
The first day of the Zelda Marathon has passed and our host, Mases, has already created a new meme based off of the song “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen. Every time Mases beat a boss in Phantom Hourglass, the first game of the marathon, he showcased his Link bobble-head and someone happened to snap a picture off that, adding the words that Mases had sung to his little cover of the song. Congratulations team on a great first…

Zelda Marathon month marches on, and this one comes courtesy of the folks from Zeldathon. The team is playing through pretty much the entire Legend of Zelda series over the course of 7 days, doing so to raise money for the Child’s Play Charity. In the past the team has raised over $20,000 for various charities in their previous 5 marathons combined. This particular marathon team is a bit closer to the heart for me personally, as last July I…
