Here we are, the final week. A mere five days remain before the release of Skyward Sword, and Zelda Universe’s series 25 Years in 25 Days is drawing to its close, but not before it covers the most recent of Zelda’s console games: Twilight Princess. The year 2006 brought the Wii and with it this aesthetically wonderful game, and all of Zelda Universe’s focus is drawn to it today. But they question something; was Twilight Princess as much of a…

In a short review, USA Today gives a glowing reception to Skyward Sword, saying, among other praises, that it’s not “just the best Nintendo Wii game of 2011, but perhaps the finest Nintendo Wii game ever.” The reviewer, who gave the game four out of four stars, focuses mostly on the positive aspects of the game, noting its control style and focus on exploration while saying that it’s one of the most magical Zelda titles to have come out during…

Similar to Zelda Universe’s daily 25 Years in 25 Days articles, Coffee with Games is also starting a chronology of the Zelda series, albeit in a different fashion. The site has chosen to cover each Zelda game’s Wii stats, ranging from how many times the games have been purchased to how long players have spent enjoying them. Jump on in to see what interesting info they’ve dug up for the first epic adventure, The Legend of Zelda!

All non-Skyward Sword questions are at the beginning, in case you don’t want spoilers. Video embed after the jump. Enjoy! Questions and timestamps: (00:12) – What is your…

Weekly Famitsu, a Japanese gaming magazine, releases a list of the top 25 most wanted games of the readers on a semi-regular basis and they recently have a new list out. Not surprisingly, Skyward Sword not only made it onto the list but landed one of the upper ranks coming in at #7! You can take a look at the list and see what you think about it. Personally, I think it should have been higher. I know that nobody…

At E3, Nintendo revealed that as part of The Legend of Zelda’s 25th Anniversary, Nintendo will be releasing a golden Wii Remote with the game. Also at E3, Nintendo revealed that Skyward Sword will be released this holiday season, giving us a window of sometime in November to December. They did not give a specific release date, however, but this gives us a more concrete time frame for the release of one of the most anticipated games that Nintendo has…

Discussion about all of the Zelda games, new and old, are always circulating around the forums and many users are creating unique topics and offering their opinions in discussion all over the place. This time we’ve had some great discussion about Twilight Princess, one of the newer games in the Zelda series. Our featured thread for this week is Does Twilight Princess Deserve to be Called a Disappointment? We’ve had a lot of opinions on the game so far, so…

Hey there guys! Mailbag #016 is here. So this time I worked in some questions about the 3DS remake of Ocarina of Time and even one general Zelda question, but it’s still mostly about Skyward Sword. To be honest most of my doubts about the game (I do have them!) have been dissolving more and more as time wears on, even though there hasn’t been anything particularly new to hear about. Guess I’m just thinking about it more? Or maybe…
