Nintendo has just released its quarterly financial report for the third portion of the 2013-2014 fiscal year and while the results were considerably poor for Wii U, 3DS continued to improve in winning over consumers. The Wind Waker HD has only been on the market for a few weeks now, but it has already boosted sales of Nintendo’s ailing Wii U console -in Europe at least. Wii U purchases have increased by a whooping 685 percent across the United Kingdom after the release of the enhanced GameCube remake in Europe on Oct. 4. Learn more after the jump. 

Exactly one year ago to this day, Spirit Tracks was released for the Nintendo DS. Initially, it was met with a rather diverse set of reviews by many gamers.
