A project that we have been following closely here at Zelda Dungeon is finally complete. Well, at least as far as 2012 is concerned. Link’s Blacklist’s is a tribute project to the enemies in the Zelda series that our friends over at Game-Art-HQ have been running since June. While all the finished images can be viewed on their deviantART group page, it can now be found in it’s entirety on their site. The gallery can be found by clicking here,…

Welcome to another Fanart Spotlight, everyone! Today we feature a piece of digital art called “Triforce Obtained” by Tim Bradshaw that mixes old school Legend of Zelda with new. The artist uses the familiar Wind Waker style in this image, so at first glace it seems like this is a picture of the Hero of Winds. However, it quickly becomes apparent that this is actually the Link from the first game released for the series, The Legend of Zelda. Set…

It’s Halloween night here at Zelda Dungeon! I’ve gathered some great Zelda-based Halloween images to share with all of you. Zelda has certainly inspired some fantastic artwork for all occasions, but there’s enough spooky stuff in the series to allow for some truly scary images! Halloween isn’t just about being scared, though; there are also some great costume ideas. See what the most creative Zelda fans have come up with after the jump!

Today’s fanart spotlight is from German artist Dion. This is an artist who has done some absolutely incredible fan artwork for the Zelda series, specifically Majora’s Mask, and is someone who I have wanted to feature more than once in the past. So today, along with looking at this newest remarkable creation, we will also be looking at some of Dion’s previous work as well.

Welcome to today’s Fanart Spotlight. I usually try to find art by artists who have not been featured before so that as many different art styles and interpretations as possible can be found here on the front page. However, Karlen Tam, whom Knowlee wrote about just last month, has made another amazing contribution to the Zelda community worthy of a Fanart Spotlight, with this digital art piece appropriately named Golden Goddesses. This picture must be seen at full size for…

Today’s Fanart spotlight is a digital illustration from the incredibly talented UK born artist, Trudi Castle. She has worked on an impressive number of projects, including Halo Anniversary, the Crysis series, and a Lord of the Rings card game. It is quite a treat for the Zelda fandom when a prolific artist produces a piece of Zelda artwork, and this is certainly no exception with Trudi’s re-imagining of The Wind Waker’s beloved sage, Makar. The artist describes this as a…

Last month we featured some of the first entries for the amazing collaboration Link’s Blacklist, a tribute project to the memorable enemies that appear in the Zelda series. Since then, many more pieces have been added leading up to it’s official release on Game-Art-HQ in October, and this newest batch of pictures is just as impressive as the first wave. See all nine new entries after the jump!

Today’s Fanart Spotlight is a sculpture by ArtyAMG called Imp Midna, Front and Back. One of the most impressive features of this beautifully crafted piece that doesn’t cut any corners when it comes to detail. Every groove in Midna’s official art is accounted for on Midna’s ornate helm, and the tint of turquoise that covers it makes this sculpture come to life. Her hair looks effortlessly depicted, and the gradient from yellow to orange really makes the color pop. The…

Today’s Fanart Spotlight features an ongoing colaboration project by the people over at Game-Art-HQ called Link’s Blacklist, a tribute to the baddies of The Legend of Zelda series. Dozens of artists are participating, and while it will still be a few months before all the entries are completed, some amazing pieces of work have already emerged from this project. One of entries has already been featured here on Zelda Dungeon, and several artists who have been featured on this site…

A few months ago, we reported on a Zelda LEGO concept on Lego.cuusoo.com that had reached 10,000 votes and would be up for consideration to become a real lego set. While DeviantART’s Wes-Talbott has created his own vision for the set; a beautiful digital painting that looks like it could pass for the cover of a Lego Ocarina of Time game. Although like many of the Lego parodies, this does have a bit of a tongue in cheek quality to…
