Hey everybody at Zelda Informer! Colin here, your ecstatic Managing Editor. We don’t normally do these kinda of posts, but I felt it was absolutely necessary to share with you this euphoric, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Why am I so excited, you ask? Beyond the rush of attending E3, I just met a man who happens to be one of my most revered personal heroes.

If you’re on here, chances are, you’ve heard of a man named Eiji Aonuma, who has played various roles as Director and Producer on nearly every Zelda game since Ocarina of Time in 1998. Today at E3, I had the incredible honor of meeting that man.

That’s right folks, the wait is almost over! There was no tsunami this year. The Nintendo team has arrived in Los Angeles without a hitch, safe and sound.

Nintendo of America has sent out a tweet with the following picture. The Fantastic Four have arrived. The Brains: Satoru Iwata. The Brawn: Reggie Fils-Aime. The Builder: Shigeru Miyamoto. The Bro: Luigi Mario.

Nintendo’s E3 Direct airs at 7 a.m. PST on Tuesday June 11th, 2013. The video will be an hour long and will include details on Nintendo’s upcoming software, with a few new details.

Hello Zelda Dungeoners and welcome to a new edition of Timeshift Thursday for this week! E3 2013 is just around the last corner and the hunger for new announcements, demos, and game trailers is at an all-time high. The lack of Zelda games at last year’s E3 makes way for a blockbuster showfloor this time with both The Wind Waker HD and A Link to the Past 2 scheduled to be shown. A new Zelda Wii U title could also…

Last night, it was revealed that Nintendo was not to have a large appearance at E3 2013. E3 is the world’s largest electronic enterainment exposition (hence the name E3), so a company like Nintendo skipping out on it seemed strange. The worry, however, was unfounded. This morning, Nintendo’s Charlie Scibetta explained that even though they were not planning to have one large conference, there were two smaller ones planned. They are also planning to have multiple Nintendo Directs and are considering letting the demos available at E3 be playable by the public. To see the full quote, hop inside!

Recently, a fan of F-Zero addressed to Nintendo on Twitter that

he would really enjoy an F-Zero title developed by Shin’en Games. Well, let’s

just say Shin’en Games got the tweet and responded

accordingly to his request,

saying that they have “something in the works.”

This says to me that we could be seeing an F-Zero title

announced later this year, or quite possibly as early as E3! They then followed

up with an announcement

on Twitter that they plan on revealing two Wii U titles later this

year as well. It’s quite refreshing to hear news on an upcoming F-Zero title

after so many years!

What are your thoughts on this announcment? Are you a huge fan

of the F-Zero franchise? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
