Symphony of the Goddesses Partners with Viz Media, Zelda Books Available at Symphony Events

If you were looking for another excuse to attend a Symphony of the Goddesses – Master Quest show, you’re in luck. Manga and anime publisher Viz Media announced today that it is partnering with the Symphony of the Goddesses series to bring Zelda books to concert events. This means that the recently reprinted The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past graphic novel by Shotaro Ishinomori and The Legend of Zelda manga series by Akira Himekawa will both be available for purchase at upcoming Zelda Symphony shows.
Viz Media had this to say about the partnership:
“VIZ Media graphic novel and manga titles inspired by the classic Nintendo® game, THE LEGEND OF ZELDA, will be available for purchase at upcoming “The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses” concerts. The manga and graphic novel will join the concerts’ new “Master Quest” music and visuals to make Symphony of the Goddesses the ultimate Zelda experience for fans of music, art, games, and culture.”
Viz Media also announced that these titles will be available at San Diego Comic Con in conjunction with Symphony of the Goddesses‘ show on July 11. The publisher will sponsor a special ticket giveaway for the event.
While The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past graphic novel and The Legend of Zelda manga are both available online and in-store at many retailers, this partnership helps to make Symphony of the Goddesses a one-stop shop for Zelda merch. Impulse buyers may have trouble ignoring these books after they have just experienced the thrill of seeing live Zelda music.
