Posted on January 30 2015 by Brooke Ferdinansen
A recent email sent out to subscribers of Symphony of the Goddesses revealed some new additions for this year’s concert. For those of you that attended the concert in the past, you probably remember the musical features for select Zelda games. This time around there are some new segments including a Link’s Awakening and Majora’s Mask movement. Be sure to hit the jump for more information!
For those of you who are unaware, this concert was announced a couple months ago (You may be able to still purchase tickets; visit their website for more information including dates and purchases). In 2013, Symphony of the Goddesses featured a movement for Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and A Link to the Past. This year the biggest change will be the addition of Majora’s Mask, which includes updated visuals due to the remake. There will also be new music and visual elements that were not featured in the 2013 concert.
“Fans can also expect to hear stirring orchestral renditions of music from other series games, including The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. The full orchestra will be conducted by Eímear Noone with arrangements by music director Chad Seiter.”
Be sure to check out the official website to sign up for the mailing list, or to look over dates for future events.
