Survive this Holiday Trading Sequence with a Helpful Walkthrough
Posted on December 21 2013 by Legacy Staff
So your Cuccos weren’t too happy with your gift last year. You spent a WHOLE BUNCH of Bananas and even though you explained how it could one day become a Honeycomb, they were not amused. “
I’m not sure how that would happen, but take it!” you said. Still, somehow, a Stick just did not fill the inventory needs of your favorite dungeon-diver.
So this year I’m here to provide a walkthrough for your Holiday shopping so you can gift that special Zelda enthusiast with something that will have their heart in pieces.
1) Getting Started
You’ll want to start off this year’s trading sequence with the traditional small item that could, say, fit in an oversized sock. Stuff those stockings with this year’s most aromatic Zelda gift: Zelda Cartridge Soaps from Digital Soaps. You’ll have your choice from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Link’s Awakening, or A Link to the Past! They come in a variety of flavours including Vanilla Select scent and Mountain Dew. They even have a golden edition Ocarina of Time!
Get Every Link Clean with Zelda Cartridge Soaps price varies on selection
2) Introduction
Make the new Link in your family a legend. A real hero must look the part so be sure to give them the gift of green this year. No, I’m not talking about cold hard cash for your babies; I’m talking about this amazing green tunic onesie made by Etsy seller Linda Sumner Designs. Hero’s Tunic Baby Onesie $14
3) Walkthrough
If you’re going to make it through this gift giving season you will need a full inventory of tools and gadgets to make your way through the many trials that come.
I don’t have my equipment ready, but if you want to pass through here, you should at least equip a sword and shield! I recommend this very nice wall decal from Etsy seller Vinyl Vanquish. They have many different designs and colors available. A Panacea of Zelda Wall Vinyls $34.99
And how are they even going to lift the biggest present under the tree without the Goron Bracelet from the fabled Etsy seller Douglas Pryor? Give the Gift of Lifting with the Goron Bracelet $72
Quick! Replenish hearts with this Lon Lon Milk Cented Candle from Blankoo! Lon Lon Milk Scented Candle $15
Make all your gifts visible with The Lens of Truth from Twisted Creations. Light up the Lense of Truth $50
4) Sidequests
Now that you have completed this season’s trading sequence make it last and collect all the side-quest items like this Heart Container locket by Three Twelve Trinkets A Piece of Heart Locket $18
Explore every inch of the overworld map by following this skirt made by Go Follow Rabbits. Link’s Awakening Overworld Map Skirt $45.99
5) Credits
I encourage you, the fans, to go to Etsy for your holiday geekery purchases so you can support people like yourselves out there making all of these wonderful fan items! Thank you to all of the laboring die-hard Zelda fans out there putting forth their craft to bring our dream gifts to life!
