It isn’t easy learning to play the piano, but one fan who did learn has taken the original Legend of Zelda theme straight off the NES and put it onto his instrument of choice.
Video Game Pianist is a YouTube musician who performs video game tunes on the piano. He’s played music from Super Mario 64, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, and more. Video Game Pianist has more than 50,000 subscribers, and in the past he even played in Carnegie Hall.
The pianist’s performance of the original
Legend of Zelda theme is one minute and 17 seconds long. It’s played on a grand Steinway piano because Video Game Pianist believes that it produces better sound than any electric piano could. For more information on the pianist, click here.
