Skyward Sword Comic – Fragile

Sometimes, it can seem like Link is invulnerable. Depending on the capabilities of the enemies that he faces, he doesn’t usually show any sign of injury until he’s down to his last couple hearts. He can fall off cliffs, be beaten by clubs, or even stung by bees, but the only thing to indicate that he’s hurt is his heart count and sometimes a grunt or two. From all the abuse that Link takes, how does his equipment stay in perfect working order? As annoying as it could be, it actually made sense that the shield had to be repaired after undergoing so much wear and tear in Skyward Sword. Awkward Zombie created a perfectly logical comic that answers a few questions on this topic. If you’re interested, take a look at the comic after the jump.

Interesting, right? And also a little funny. The crazed look on the Bokoblin’s face got a chuckle out of me. It’s a good thing faithful ol’ Fi was there to let Link know that his health was nearly depleted. What would he do without her? Also, her expression when she sees that he only cares about his bottle was priceless, even if it was a just question. It’s what I would have been wondering, in any case.
