Skyward Sword 3DS Theme Comes to Europe

With the recent addition of themes for the 3DS, many people have now customized their handheld’s home screens to feature their favorite Nintendo characters or series. Even though The Legend of Zelda is one of the company’s biggest franchises, it actually doesn’t have that many themes from which to choose. Players in Europe actually have one fewer Zelda theme available than those in Japan and North America. That is, until this coming Friday rolls around.

On January 9th, Nintendo of Europe will be making three new 3DS themes available for purchase. One of the three will be centered around Skyward Sword — the very same that was released in Japan and North America last year. The theme features a panoramic wallpaper using official art from the game, golden folders with the Hylian Crest, and the Ballad of the Goddess song playing in the background. It will be available for the standard €1.99 / £1.79, so if you’d like to add a little variety to your handheld, make sure to get your hands on this sweet theme.
