Skull Kid: A Zelda Legend

A non-profit Zelda fan project called Skull Kid: A Zelda Legend, has been launched recently. The project is short-film, focusing on the backstory of the Skull Kid, from Majora’s Mask, and how he had gotten his hands on the Majora’s Mask. The film is completely live-action, and resembles a horror movie, a creepy vibe living through out the film. The film starts off with the Skull Kid’s banishment from Termina, to his return, with the Majora’s Mask, deciding the fate of the people of Termina. The film is really well made and definitely worth the watch! I do remind you that it is terrifying, so for the light-hearted, and younger children, I recommend caution. As you can see, it is an amazing film, with great quality. The project started in August of this year, with a planned release of November. It was pushed back a month and now has been released in December. Though only made in a few months, the film presents an amazing view of the Skull Kid, showing him slowly being possessed by the mask, till finally, he is consumed, leading him to cause the moon to fall.

The film was written, directed, and produced by Jared Potter. Jared Potter had also made another backstory to the BioShock franchise, back in March of 2012.
