Sand Rod Discovered in A Link Between Worlds

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, the latest entry in
our favorite game series, is coming out in just under a month, and still
many mysteries surround it. One aspect of
A Link Between Worlds
that we still don’t know everything about is the items that Link will be
able to use in the game. Earlier, however, screenshots reveal one such mystery item
for the world to see.
File properties revealed a “Sand Rod”
pictured in this article which came from the European Press assets. Our
friend Austin of Link’s Hideaway also discovered other items as well,
including the Sword, Shield, Fire, and Ice Rods. Nobody knows right now
what the Sand Rod does, but one possible assumption is that it might be
related to the
Sand Wand in Spirit Tracks.
