Reggie Fils-Aime Responds to Zelda Universe’s Ice Bucket Challenge

Recently, a new challenge has taken the world by storm, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. This challenge had been created by the ALS Association in order to raise money for research for ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.) The challenge is fairly simple, people are nominated to take the challenge, and they record a video of them first stating who they are nominating and then having ice water poured on them. If the nominees don’t post a video within 24 hours, they must donate a sum of money to the ALS Association. Recently, Zelda Universe had called out Reggie Fils-Aime to take the challenge, and he has responded. Hit the jump to see the tweet!
To the #IceBucketChallenge requests: I will 'one up' the challenge. Will share more over next few days! #Regginator @XboxP3 @ZeldaUniverse

As you can see, Reggie is putting off the challenge for just a bit longer in order to “one up” the challenge. This now leads to a sum of speculation. What does he mean by “one up”? Obviously, this means he is doing something special, which I presume will be uploaded to the official Nintendo of America YouTube channel, yet this could also mean something else. To “one-up” something usually means to take it up a notch, but in Nintendo’s turns, it means to add a life. Could this mean that he will be doing it multiple times?
Nevertheless, I find it great that Reggie is listening to the community, as opposed to just taking nominations from the big-wigs at Nintendo. Hopefully he will do other things like this if he has the chance!
Let us know in the comments below what you think about both this new challenge, and Reggie’s response!
