Real Gale Boomerang flies even farther

I see the question “If you could have one Zelda item in real life, what would it be?” asked a lot. And I understand how enticing of a question it is. I mean, with Link’s huge array of sleek, magical, and surreal items, how could you not want at least one of them. Some people say the Hero’s Bow, the Zora’s Tunic, or the Master Sword, and most often I see the Clawshot or the Ocarina of Time as the top answer. Some people even get creative and say they’d like to have the fabled Epona or one of Link’s sidekicks. From this desire, many artists and craftsmen have attempted to re-create these items and have succeeded. But how often do people make pieces that actually operate?
A highly experienced craftsman known as Victor Poulin has created a real life, totally usable Gale Boomerang! Although I doubt the Gale Boomerang would be at the top of most people’s list, it would still be an inarguably cool thing to own, let alone one that actually works. The boomerang is made of wood, sadly not of the magical feathers presented in the game, but still looks exactly like the original. Unfortunately, if you were wanting this item, it is not for sale. It seems to be a one time project from Poulin, but we can always hope for him to release it in his store.
So what do you guys think of this guy? Which Zelda item do you think could/should be created to work in real life other than this? And I’ll ask here just for good measure, if you could have one Zelda item from any game in real life (that worked), what would it be?
You can view a video of the boomerang in action and other videos of his boomerangs here.
