PS Vita Title Knocks Majora’s Mask 3D Out Of Number One Sales Spot In Japan

Majora’s Mask 3D was knocked into the number two spot following the second week after its release in Japan, according to recent sales data. The Zelda remake was beaten out of first place by Playstation Vita title God Eater 2: Rage Burst.

The new Vita game had a total of 234,180 units sold while Nintendo sold 71,181 Majora’s Mask 3D units. The sales data also showed that the Playstation 4 version of God Eater 2: Rage Burst came in third place, with 37,824 units sold.

The Playstation Vita also topped the charts last week in hardware sales in Japan with a total of 35,203 systems sold. Nintendo sold a total of 23,466 New 3DS XL units last week, and 8,657 of the smaller New 3DS handhelds.
