Penrose Triforce Shirt Contest: Winners Revealed
Posted on October 05 2012 by Bastian
One week ago we posted about our 72 hour contest for one of two Penrose Triforce T-Shirts designed by John Tibbott over at Threadless. Well, the votes are in and we’re excited to announce the two winners!
First of all, a big thank you to everyone who submitted and entry: they were a joy to read through! Also a huge thanks to John Tibbott, the designer of the shirt for kindly providing two of them for this contest. If you did not win one of these two fantastic prizes, certainly visit the page at Threadless whereat you can purchase one!
That being said, let’s get to our two winners!
Our first winner is Darkgreyfire who submitted an entry so hilarious we just couldn’t stop laughing each time we’d read it:
“If I had the golden power in my hands, I would make my wife more like Link. Because Link doesn’t talk. Then maybe she’d shut her yap. It’s like living with Navi over here.”
He then went on to explain that his profile pic was actually his son wearing a Link costume which he’d made for him:
“That’s a costume I made for my son by hand. It’s actually green suede. Wanted to make the suite have a very medieval feel, since it’s modeled after twilight princess Link. […] When I bought a wii, I had purchased it from the nintendo store just for old time sake. My son, would sit and watch me play every time I turned it on. Then eventually started his own game. […] About four years, and nine games later, Zelda means more to me than any other game. Only because I fell in love with it at the same time, and along with my son.”
Our second winner is Chris Cole, who wrote:
“If I had the Golden Power I would use it to create homes and food and running water for everyone who is without. People in first-world countries overlook running water.”
Remember, our two winners will have only 72 hours to respond to us. If we do not hear from them within 72 hours, we will select a replacement winner. If you are one of our two winners, contact us here and be sure to select “News and Articles” in the Category drop-down list.
Again, thanks to all the entrants!
